Alan had a personal encounter one night about 20 years ago that I could not explain. From that point his interest to learn more about what may have been a paranormal experience was overwhelming. In those 20 years he read several books, consulted people who were more experienced in the field, and scoured the Internet looking for more answers which has led him to join SPRIT of Pa.

Alan is an avid history buff and enjoys visiting historical places, and enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach, hanging with family and friends, watching movies in his movie room, and with his busy schedule spending down time at home whenever possible.

I have been dealing with paranormal since I was 8 years old, when I had my first paranormal experience. It has continued throughout my life. I started looking for answers why these things seem to happen to me. Joining SPIRT of PA is a way of helping me and other people in finding answers through research into the paranormal.

Leslie McFadden has been interested in the world of the paranormal since she encountered the spirit of her just-deceased grandfather at the age of 9. Her parents were at the hospital, and young Leslie simply knew her grandfather was only sick, but not in danger of dying. During the hour of his passing, he appeared to her while she was alone in the house. This did not frighten her; she felt comforted and happy that her Pop-pop had chosen her to “visit”. Since then, she has had other significant contact with the paranormal, and has recently been thrilled and grateful to use this sensitivity in joining the SPIRT Team!

Jack was born on September 13, 1968; he held his mother in labor for 13 hours and was the 13’Th grandchild. Rumor even has it that it was a full moon on the night he was born. He grew up in Rutledge Pennsylvania; in an old Victorian house. He swore it was haunted ever since the day he could acknowledge what was going on in the house. He says “I was the only grandchild that my grandfather ever saw before he died; out of six” and still to this day still thinks he is visiting him.

In the early eighties, his mother and father divorced and his two brothers, his Mother and himself where forced to move to an old row home on the edge of Springfield. An old mill house: for the plush mills (and on the historic registrar). A young girl “he says” haunted me all the time. Hid my keys, turned the television off, shook my bed…etc. “Ever since I have been devoted to research of the paranormal; there is not much I haven’t been through”

Jenn is a lawyer in the Philadelphia area and has been interested in the paranormal for over 15 years. She has a degree in chemistry and enjoys using all kinds of technology while investigating.
